Juhfark, a native grape variety of Nivegy Valley, the flagship wine of our winery is the most significant type of the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region, along with Welschriesling.
Our family has been living in Nivegy Valley since the 1800s, and since then we have been engaged in viticulture and winemaking. From the very beginning, wine production was the most important means of livelihood in the family’s life. We currently farm on 18 hectares.
Our winery was built in 1986 on the top of Fenyves Hill on the family estate, in Balatoncsicsó, which was initially a small, 50 hectolitres wooden barrel winery. Soon, in 1997 it expanded with another arched wooden barrel section and a steel tank fermentation winery as well. Year after year, we increased our areas and the capacity of our property.
Our winery has already hosted many family celebrations, small weddings and corporate events. We can host 80 people on our terrace at the same time.
