Gergely Winery is located near the Balaton coast, 7 km from Zánka, on St. Balazs Hill, in the heart of the Nivegy Valley. The family winery was founded by our father, László Szabó, more than 30 years ago and the tradition goes back even further, as our father’s grandfather was already engaged in viticulture.
We cultivate 25 hectares of grapes; our plantations are located in the best vineyards and their average age is 10 years. In accordance with the tradition of our wine region, we mainly grow white grapes, but there are some blue ones in smaller quantities as well. From viticulture through winemaking to sales, all work processes are carried out by our family.
In addition to the fine wines, our guests can also enjoy the panorama of Lake Balaton that opens in front of them.
