To be born, live and work in a place where people still breathe together with the world around them is a rare privilege. Nivegy Valley in the Balaton Highlands – our home – is such a region. Csicsó Ceramics, our pottery workshop has been operating in Balatoncsicsó as a handicraft and family manufactory for 30 years now.
Our artistic and creative director is ceramicist Ferenc Schmidt, known as Csicsó, who is constantly searching for the secrets of clay, the harmony hidden in the unity of colors, shapes and firing techniques. Our ceramic flowers and figurines are also born in the spirit of this playful creative process!
In our workshop, we shape, paint and sear by hand every day. Aesthetics and quality work are both important to us. We believe that the ceramics we produce bring joy not only to us!
