KóBor Tour

Description

The KóBor (in English: wandering) Tour was brought to life by three wineries in the Balaton Highlands.

Their aim is to showcase high-quality and diverse local wines, as well as fantastic Hungarian-style dishes in the beautiful Mediterranean Nivegy Valley during an organized tour. Participants are transported between the wineries every Friday throughout the year by their own wine taxi. Each of the three family wineries offers 3 different types of wine, and at the end of the program, guests are welcomed at the Dobosi Estate Center with a pre-arranged 2-course menu (main course + dessert), where the wines of winery are served with dinner.

Departure: Every Friday at 3:45 PM. Duration: 3.5-4 hours

Wine Tour Price: HUF 16.900/person
Nonwine drinkers: HUF 11.700/person

The price includes: wine taxi, wine snacks, soft/wine consumption at the wineries, and dinner from the current season’s menu. Payment with SZÉP card is accepted on the KóBor tour. Grape juice or soft drinks are served to guests under 18 or those not consuming alcoholic beverages.

The stations in Balatonfüred and Veszprém are available with a minimum of 8 people, subject to a surcharge:

• In the case of Balatonfüred, an additional fee of HUF 2.000/person is charged, while in Veszprém, the surcharge is HUF 2.500/person.
• Participation for children up to 6 years old is free.
• For children under 6, a children’s menu is available at Zsóka Inn, and the cost can be settled at the restaurant.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• The wine tour starts with a minimum of 4 participants.
• If the departure is delayed due to guests, and the delay reaches 30 minutes, the tour will be shortened by one stop.
• Avoid alcohol consumption before the wine tour.
• The tour cannot be started with intoxicated individuals.
• Payment is made at Dobosi Estate Center on each occasion.
• Notify in advance for vegan, gluten, and lactose intolerances.
• The bus explores the most beautiful parts of the Nivegy Valley during the tour.
• Dress appropriately for the weather, as there is an outdoor location among the cellars.
