Bocskay Winery

Description

Bocskay Winery is hidden in an area of 1,000 sq m at the top of St. Balázs Hill. It is accompanied by a vineyard of nearly 7,000 sq m. It’s a truly hidden gem as there is no traffic. Cars and hikers do not cross the territory, making this one of the quietest wineries and accommodation on the mountain.

Thanks to this tranquility, we can catch a glimpse of deer and rabbits, and closely observe the sunbathing green lizards or butterflies. The alarm clock can be easily replaced with the chirping of birds while in the evening we can enjoy the chirping of crickets. The good news for those who sleep poorly is that the light pollution is minimal, and without clouds, the sky can be seen in its most amazing depth. Resting on the hill can be an excellent „medicine” for stressful weekdays.

The upper level of the winery functions as accommodation. It is an ideal choice for families, friends, and couples. The accommodation includes two bedrooms (with double beds), a living room with an American kitchen, a bathroom, and an anteroom.

The panorama of the Bocskay Winery is breathtaking as most of the Nivegy Valley lies at our feet.
